Casa Vespina
Casa Vespina practices clean agriculture. Which means for example following the season and the needs of the soil when seeding and harvesting. Which means experimenting in harmony with nature.
Casa Vespina is a small organic farm near Orvieto at the border between Umbria and Lazio. On 12 acres of land are fields, forest and a small vending room.
Safran, antiche grains (as Dicoccum, Verna and Senatore Cappelli), chickpeas, lentils, beans and winter vegetables as well as fruit grow beautifully on the fertile vulcanic soil.
The products of Casa Vespina are the result of loving craftmanship. They are being produced without any trace of chemical add ons. Because the owners are sure that you can do without as long as you listen carefully to nature. Casa Vespina is biologically certified. But their products are more than biological, they are natural.
